Look them in\u00a0the eyes or\u00a0lightly touch their shoulder. It\u00a0helps your words land and builds trust.<\/p>\n<p>\u2800<\/p>\n<p>Talking so\u00a0your teen actually listens isn\u2019t easy, but it\u2019s absolutely possible. Sometimes these Jedi-inspired tricks help, and sometimes it\u2019s a\u00a0quiet tone, a\u00a0small joke, or\u00a0a\u00a0warm look that does the magic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cListen, they will\u00a0\u2014 if\u00a0pressure, you use not.
